All parents and pupils interested in applying to the school are welcome, indeed encouraged, to visit us. Please contact the school office to arrange an appointment.
Key Stage 3
Admission to the school in Years 7, 8, and 9 is organised by Buckinghamshire County Council (BCC) and is dependent on performance in tests produced by the NFER. Most pupils take the '11+' in the first term of Year 6 and sit these tests in their own primary school. Pupils may also apply for entry to Year 8 and 9 and will be required to sit similar tests. Each year a number of pupils will join us at this stage, some who have recently moved into the area, and others who wish to transfer from their current school. BCC can provide details of when the relevant tests will take place.
Admission procedures can be confusing. It is very important that you contact the Admissions team at County Hall, Aylesbury, Bucks (Tel: 01296 383250) to ensure that you receive the most current information and the necessary application forms.
Key Stage 4
Entry into Year 10 (and exceptionally Year 11) is via direct application the school. Pupils will be required to sit tests in a range of curriculum subjects (including English, Mathematics, Sciences, Languages, Humanities and Design) and entry is dependent on performance and spaces being available. Please contact the school for details.
Sixth Form (Key Stage 5)
Applications are encouraged for places in the 6th form where a wide range of AS and A' Level subjects are offered. Details of the current curriculum and admission requirements are in the Sixth Form Prospectus available from the school.
